Lingering on.

It seems that in some places the "Cafeteria years" are still lingering on .... Why?

I second the above question - is this for real, and if it is what is that standing on the right with a stole around it's neck?

It's probably Episcopalian (Anglican) from the US. I came across it on a Liturgy Blog.

I dunno. Looks bad enough to be catholic.

This is the new springtime, get with the programme guys! Doesn't it make you feel liberated and proud to be a child of the 60s?? I guess its a better alternative to peace pipes. Then again...

I'm proud to have been born at about the time as "Veterum Sapientiae" was promulgated! (A top Papal letter.)

Well what's so great about being a child of the 80s?

@Fr. Julian:
Glam was on the way out before we got too old? I dunno!

This mass must have been organised by the BBC as either:

Its a Harry Enfield sketch: isn't that Harry on the right?

its looks like an episode of Songs of Praise.

Or it was a "youth mass" for The Young Ones?

Randomly following a link on another Blog I discovered that they call themselves the 'Independent Catholic Christian Church'.

This is what they say about 'Baptism':

"...the Independent Catholic Christian Church encourages a diverse use of language for God, including feminine, inclusive, and expansive language. These may be incorporated in Trinitarian formulas, such as “Lover, Beloved, and Love” or “Mother, Christ, and Holy Spirit”."

Scary! :-(
